The most important tactic when creating your vision statement is thinking about the life you want and what would make it as perfect as it can be. Start by completing the statement “Now that I’ve achieved my goals my life is…” The easiest way to complete that statement is answer the question “What do I want?” as well as the following questions…
- What do I want out of life?
- What are my personal ambitions and desires?
- Why do I want to do this?
- What do I help others achieve?
- What do I want my business to look like?
- What will be my role in that business?
- How much money am I earning?
- How do I want to spend my days?
- How strenuous would I be working?
- Where do I live? What does my house look like?
- How do I have fun? What are my anticipated rewards?
- Where do I want to vacation? How will I evaluate success/failure?
- What is success/failure?
- How do I want to spend time with your family?
With a clear vision you know exactly what you working toward but, keep in mind that without a clear vision you run the risk of not enjoying the life you want to enjoy.
