Tactics To Use PR to Promote Your Company

Public Relations is the perfect tactic to use to promote your company. It packs a big wallop by building awareness of our existences, proving you are capable to provide the solution you offer, and proving you are real because a credible source is talking/writing about you. Plus, most public relations strategies cost nothing to implement.

Here are a few public relation strategies that are so easy you can implement them today…

  • Write a press release about something news worthy happening in your business, like receiving an award, announcing a partnership, or announcing that you’re available to speak on particular subjects of interest, and submit it to television stations, radio stations, trade journals and business magazines that your target market reads.
  • Take a look at the articles and press releases written in trade journals and magazines about client targets, to see where your services or products can be offered. Send an email or make a phone call to do so.
  • Write articles that showcase your ability to do what you do, and submit to newsletters, blogs, trade journals and business magazines that are read by your target market
  • Interview or request to be interviewed by a client or indirect competitor for your or their podcast or internet radio show. You can even write a press release to be sure your target market learns about it.
  • Add a blog to your Web site and post articles that showcase your ability; articles that explain how to do what you do, and review products every couple of days that you use to service your clients or in your business.
  • Host a seminar or webinar that showcases your skills or explains how to do something you do for your clients. Invite your clients, past clients and prospects.

These tactics will get you started promoting your company and building your credibility.
